Since sugar is high in calories and offers no nutritional benefit, limiting it after surgery is crucial for successful weight control. If you crave something sweet, sweeteners can be a safe alternative.

Nuts contain healthy fats that support the body, but they are also remarkably calorie-dense. When eaten in large amounts, they can contribute to weight regain.

To stay on track, nut consumption should not exceed one portion per day.
