How much is gastric bypass surgery in Turkey?
Gastric bypass surgery in Turkey usually costs between £3,500 and £4,500. The price varies depending on the surgical technique. A classic gastric bypass (Roux-en-Y) is more expensive than a mini gastric bypass (Omega Loop). More complex operations, such as gastric bypass revision, can cost over £5,000.
Does health insurance cover weight loss surgery abroad?
Most health insurance policies do not cover planned weight loss surgery abroad. Travel insurance also excludes non-emergency operations. Do I need to pay a deposit?
